The Program trains teachers for special education who possess modern technologies of correctional and pedagogical work with persons with diverse intellectual disabilities. During the course, students learn how to:

detect the features of the development of children with mental retardation, and correctly draw up a conclusion on the child;
give group and individual classes on correction and development of cognitive activity, emotional and volitional component, and personal qualities;
apply special methods and techniques for working with children with intellectual disabilities.
